New Pics

We had some pics taken of the girls recently. After repeated bribes of Skittles and Smarties, we managed to get a few good ones. Go to www.annmaysphotography.com. Click on "proofing" and our password is "landgren." Can't believe how my babies have grown!

Shopping Online

This picture makes Libby laugh again and again, so I thought I'd post it.
Libs with our dog Sophie hard at work on the computer.

Halloween, Hunting, etc.

Here are a few pictures of what's been going on at our house.
Halloween was fun. Emma was a turtle and Libby was a pink poodle. They had a blast!
Mike's bobcat finally came back from the taxidermist. Emma asked if I would put batteries in it so it could talk. Libby said it "creeped her out."
Mike and the girls went "camping" in the backyard.
And finally, the girls came down one morning dressed in their swimming suits and asked if they could go to the waterpark. In November.

Pumpkin Carving 08

Mike helped the girls carve their pumpkins again this year. They turned out great. The girls are thrilled! Libby wants a Halloween birthday party.....in April.

KC Trip

So we went to Kansas City a few weeks ago to see some friends and stay at the Great Wolf Lodge. We had a great time! Libby is really into doing things "as a family," so this was the perfect place for us to be. Oh, did I mention we saw my daughter's idols "The Backyardigans" in concert?

I Kissed a Frog (and I liked it)

Found a frog in the park the other day. Had to touch it, hold it, carry it around, and all the other gross things that girls should NOT do!

Pool Pics

Our neighbor and friend, Beth, is the director of our local children's advocacy center in Hastings. She had a photographer come to Lochland this summer to take some pics of kids having fun. She will make postcards out of them and use them as a fundraiser for CASA. Her granddaughter Carly came from Kearney to see her buddies Libby and Emma. A few cute pics to remind me of our fun summer!

Gardening Gloves?

The girls were helping Mike do some yard work this week and weren't able to locate their gardening gloves in the garage. So, they chose the next best thing. Winter gloves! The hats add a nice touch don't you think? Perfect for the 90 degree weather we're having!

A Fun Weekend at Lovewell

We spent the weekend at the cabin and really enjoyed boating, swimming, fireworks and silly string! Libby and Emma had a great time with their friends Max and Henry and loved that the older girls were there for the weekend too!

4th of July

The girls had a great time at Lochland's annual 4th of July party. Snow cones, train rides, and too many "bounce houses" to count. Can't wait for next year!

Libby's Chef Camp

Libby had Chef Camp this week at our Children's Museum. This was a perfect opportunity for her to gain some experience in one of two of her possible professions: a "cookerman" and a teacher.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Mike celebrated his b-day this week. Here's a picture of some of our cousins and the golf cookie

Sisterly Love

This rarely happens, so I thought I'd take a picture for proof.

Karissa's Wedding

Our dear friend and baby-sitter, Karissa got married over the weekend. Libby was the flowergirl and did an excellent job. We were so proud of her!
More pics of Emma dancing to "Who Let the Dogs Out" at the reception to be posted soon!
