Licking the Beaters

It's "Cookie Day" at our house! The girls and I are making spritz cookies (w/ sprinkles of course). Here they are enjoying their favorite part of the day....licking the beaters!

The Big Slumber Party

Libby had her first slumber party over the weekend with her best friend, Hailey Vontz. The girls had a great time making cookies, eating popcorn, and watching Christmas movies. We are looking forward to many more to come!

A Visit With Santa

Santa visited us during brunch on Sunday. He even brought a bag full of presents! Libby was excited to get her "Dora" ABC cards and Emma read her new book over and over. Libby said her favorite part of the day was when Santa held her.

It's Cold Outside....We're Bored!

We had a little snow this weekend and lots of cold weather. Trying to entertain a 3yr old and an 18 month old ALL DAY can be challenging. So, we built a fort. The fun lasted for a good 20 minutes.

Fall Fun

Mike and Libby did their annual pumpkin carving last week. It turned out great once again! I also added this picture of Emma playing in our back yard. This tree is so pretty during the fall.

Two Girls in Scary Costumes

Don't let these pictures fool you. It's just Libby & Emma having fun in their peacock and shark costumes. They had a fun seeing their cousins in their costumes and doing lots of trick-or-treating!

Playgroup Fun

Our playgroup had a Birthday/Halloween party last weekend. Emma & Libby are dressed in their shark and peacock costumes. Lots of fun was had by all!

Halloween Stuff

We've been to the pumpkin patch so many times now, they know us by name. Here's Libby posing with a witch as well as an unknown kid who kept following us around.

Picture Day at School

We had picture day at school this week. Libby wanted to wear her favorite dress. Emma wanted to wear her favorite bunny shirt (even though she wasn't going to participate in picture day).

Libby got into a huge fight.....

with a MOSQUITO. And the mosquito won! She had an allergic reaction to a mosquito bite earlier this week. Much better now.

Making Spooky Cookies

The girls both love Halloween! We've had their costumes for over a month now and they want to put them on every day! We made some "spooky" cookies over the weekend and they both had lots of fun!

Boston trip

We went to Boston in August for Mike's annual conference. It was our first time there. I was not much of a baseball fan until we went to Fenway. So much fun!

Libby's First Day of School

Libby started her first year of pre-school this week. She's already class president and is thinking about going through rush. HA!
No, she was extremely exicted.....until she saw me leave. The tears started flowing and she told me that she would "probably cry" most of the days that I take her. It has gotten better every day and we're looking forward to a fun year!
The last picture shows Libby driving home from class. Most parents wouldn't let a 3 yr old drive, but it's never too early to learn!
